The Right to Cower
A request for self-protection receives a surveillance-heavy solution that leaves the citizen defenseless.
Citizen: What do you mean you want my guns? How do I protect myself from criminals? Officer: That's easy! We are installing this camera in your home. If a criminal shows up, we will see him. Citizen: Uh, what about my right to privacy and to bear arms? Officer: We deleted those. You now have the right to cower and be harassed.
