The justice system calls punishment an expression of love, and the people enforcing it cannot keep a straight face.

Judge: This court wants you to know that we care about you. The harsh and unfair sentences we give is just our way of saying we love you. Prisoner: Oh geez, how was that? Ya think they'll buy it? Guard: I love it. I love it!
